Italy is collaborating with the research infrastructure Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI: www.bbmri.eu) since the beginning. BBMRI will sustainably secure access to biological resources required for health-related research and development intended to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease and to promote the health of the citizens of Europe.
Working groups will be activated by the Node BBMRI-IT addressing special topics related to biobanking and with predetermined objectives.
